Matured for 12 months on the lees in barrel of which up to 50% may be new oak The fruit comes from two vineyards where the vines are 50-60 years old. One of the vineyard plots is located directly next to Gevrey-Chambertin.

On average, 6000 bottles are produced per vintage.
