Franciacorta, in simplest terms, is Italy’s equivalent to Champagne. This wine is produced in the Méthode Champenoise, which means that the bubbles in the wine are made by a secondary fermentation that takes place in the bottle. Only 15% of the 1.5 million cases produced annually in Franciacorta are exported. When compared to the over 30 million cases produced annually in Champagne, Franciacorta is truly a boutique wine that is enjoyed by a select group of wine lovers that are “in the know”.
The Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta Brut is produced by one of the oldest wineries in the region. The bottle is beautifully shaped and wrapped in an amber cellophane.
We have also included a very special set of glasses to enhance the enjoyment of your wine. These Italian-designed glasses feature a wide bowl to allow ample surface area for the release of aromas. The bowl tapers to a smaller opening where the aromas are concentrated. Seven perlage points at the bottom of the glasses stimulate the release of the bubbles to complete this unequaled sensory experience.
The glasses are sold in cases of 6. For more information click HERE.
