Unusual for a wine from the Veneto region where Amarone and Valpolicella are the best-known red wines the Giorossa is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet, and Raboso.  It is a pure expression of deep red fruits on the nose and palate.  Think Marascino cherries, wild berries, and a delicate touch of vanilla. This is a pleasant, easy to drink, gem.
