Description
A blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, and 15% Sagrantino the Tudernum pops with a big smack of Juicy Cherry on the nose. The red fruit intermingles with spice when the wine hits your palate. The 8-12 maceration on the skins pulls enough tannin into the wine to give a nice structure. But at no point do the tannins dry the palate. Rather the mouthfeel is round and juicy.
Definitely a great accompaniment to antipasti and moderately-aged hard cheeses.
