    Description

    A 100% Nebbiolo sourced from the Mombeltramo vineyard. 

    The 2015 Roero Riserva Mombeltramo is laced with sweet red cherry, rose petal, spice, mint, kirsch and a touch of blood orange. With lovely depth, and density, this wine shows all of the caveats of a warmer vintage. Combine this with and a firm structure that has shed its rough edges, the Mombeltramo is just hitting its stride in 2024.  All the elements are so nicely balanced, and they really show well with an hour decant.
