Made from 100% Barbera this wine is big and brooding - as serious as a Barbera can be. The nose is filled with ripe, dark fruits, spicy black plum, and blueberry jam.  Rich and extracted on the palate, the tannins are plush and well-developed.  The finish fills the back of the palate and lingers with touch of toasty oak and vanilla bean.
