You don't see a lot of wine from Liguria in the US.  Most of the wine produced in the region is consumed by the throngs of tourists that flock to the Riviera Ligure and Cinque Terra. Bottled with a hint of effervescence to maximize freshness, this wine is zesty on the palate.  Aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus, green pear, and thyme hint at the surprising complexity of this mouth-watering delight.  You will wonder, and yes, there is also a hint of salty ocean breeze that carries through to the palate.  When paired with food, the wine becomes rich on the palate.  It is a dynamite pairing with hummus with lemon and olive oil, chicken shishkabob, and rich seafood dishes.
