100% Ruché

Ruché is a mesmerizing, aromatic red wine. Ruche is native to Piedmont.  It is not cultivated anywhere else in Italy.  The grapes for La Miraja are sourced from the oldest Ruché vineyard in existence. Extremely limited production.

A wild nose redolent of violet, rose, iris, jasmine, cardamom, white pepper, ripe ruby red grapefruit, and perhaps most surprisingly for a red wine, lychee.  The palate opens to tresh wild berries, red cherry, and pomegranate.  The fruit is perfectly ripened.  Moderate tannins and good acidity enable this grape’s singular, beguiling aromatics to shine.

With its fresh citrus punch personality, this wine screams summer.  It would be great lightly chilled.
