Description
Made with grapes from Gualtallary Vineyard in the Tupungato district of Mendoza Argentina. The vineyard sits at an impressive altitude of 1470M / 4822 ft. The combination of altitude and deep-calcareous, rocky soil give rise to a New World Chardonnay that would entice many afficionados of White Burgundy.
The wine's inviting aromas of dried fruit and apples introduce a tasty palate. It has layers of lime, linden leaves and chamomile tea. Balancing acidity is enough to support the flavors and extend them through the finish. This pairs perfectly well with a butternut squash and pecan salad.
