The wine was aged in both American and French oak barrels and is very expressive now but will continue to evolve in the bottle. The wine has notes of apricot, citrus, and hints of vanilla, with a rich, creamy middle palate and strong supporting acidity. Aromatics include candied ginger and lemon peel, and the palate is round and warm with expressive acidity.
