Buglioni "Il Bugiardo" Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC is a rich, certified organic Italian red wine from the Veneto region. Named "The Liar" for its deceptive ability to drink young while sharing many similarities of an aged approachable Amarone. 

Produced using the traditional Ripasso method, where freshly fermented Valpolicella is combined with the pomace of Amarone.  This initiates a secondary fermentation that increases alcohol levels and adds deeper body and structure. In the glass, the wine is dark ruby red in color with aromas of ripe black cherries, plums, and baking spices, layered with subtle notes of vanilla, coffee, and tobacco.  With an ABV of 13.5%, the wine is deceptively full-bodied, thus the name, il Bugiardo (The Liar). Overall, the palate is well-balanced with lush fruit flavors, fine-grained tannins, and a crisp, lingering finish.
