Description
The 2022 Michele Chiarlo Reyna Barbaresco is a garnet-red wine with a complex bouquet of red fruits, rose petals, and tea leaves, along with earthy and balsamic notes. It has a full-flavored, long finish with fine, silky tannins, and is described as elegant and balanced. While enjoyable now, it will soften with more time to mature.

A very floral style focused on roses with overt red cherries and balsamic. Slightly earthy. This has medium body and crisp acidity, showing good fruit definition supported by firm, dusty yet ripe tannins, still young at the moment. It will continue to develop over at least a decade. Best from 2026.
