The Pavelots have been making wine in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune for a couple hundred years, however it wasn’t until the 1980’s when Jean-Marc and his son, Hugues, put the winery on the map. Today, the property covers 13 hectares, mainly in the municipality of Savigny-les-Beaune but also in Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. The wines of Domaine Pavelot have elegant fruit tones but are highly structured.

The Domaine Pavelot Aloxe-Corton Les Cras 2022 is a red Burgundy wine, a Pinot Noir, from the Côte de Beaune, made with grapes from vineyards at the foot of the Corton hill. The 2022 vintage is described as round and medium-weight, with a creamy texture, elegant and showing notes of walnut and dark fruit. It is produced by Jean-Marc & Hugues Pavelot and is known for its well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, making it a suitable wine for current enjoyment or for aging.
