This is a perfect all-purpose wine glass.  It is a good size for reds if you don't want an oversized bowl, (see the Etoile Noir) and great for whites as well. The bowl is 18 1/2 ounces and the glass stands 9 1/2 inches tall. 

The Vinea is the most scientifically engineered stemglass on the market.  The shape is designed to highlight the sensory perceptions of the wine contained in the vessel.  There is even a dimple at the bottom of the glass that enables you to see the actual color of the wine. 

These glasses are machine blown with a pulled stem, which provides strength at the intersection of the bowl and stem, as well as added resistance to breakage at the shoulders.  They are dishwasher safe.  But hand washing is recommended. 

If you are price shopping, please keep in mind this is a case of 6 glasses. Many sources will show a lower price for 2 or 4 glasses.  If you add up the cost of 6 glasses, you will find this is a great price!
