A common complaint in regards to Pinot Grigio is that it is too "sweet".  This is understandable considering the floral, honeydew melon profile that is characteristic of many of these wines.  

Pinot Bianco is a great wine for someone looking for an alternative to Pinot Grigio that has a rich, fresh, but overall, more neutral flavor profile.
