My first wine from this region was just a short time ago at Rumi's Kitchen near the Galleria.  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and it paired really well with the variety of food that we ordered.  When I researched the wine to see if I could get it for my shop, it was out of stock.  As I was definitely intrigued by the first Ligurian Pigato that I tasted, I searched for others.  After trying a second wine, there is certainly a body of work that is building.  I like the Ligurian Pigato wines that I have tasted, which is why I would like you to try Riviera di Ligure Pigato as well. 

The Cascina Feipu dei Massarelli Riviera Ligure di Ponente Pigato 2021 expresses white peach, and hint of citrus, white pepper, and a briny undertone that no doubt, is an indication of the close proximity to the ocean where these grapes are cultivated. The shortened version:  There is a lot going on with this wine.  The palate is clean and smooth, with a lively tingle.  The nose gives way to what I would describe as a rounded mouthful of ripe green apple intermingled with a lovely savory salinity. There is a crisp pop of mouth-watering acidity when the wine hits the mid-palate. It is super refreshing when consumed cold (as I am tasting it at this moment) and expansive when enjoyed with food at a slightly higher temperature.
