The Grand Rosé is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 15% red wine from the Champagne appellation. The wine is a deep raspberry pink that exudes aromas of strawberries, red currants, raspberries, and blood orange. Like the Grand Reserve Brut, the dosage is 10g/l, which is slightly higher than most Brut Champagne. Again, this gives this wine a lovely soft, round palate that is immensely easy to drink.
At $56, it is an amazing value by Champagne standards, approaching and often exceeding the quality of far more expensive offerings.
