Description
I'm really particular when it comes to Cahors and Malbec in general. This one made the cut.
"The wine, named after Peter the Great the 18th century Russian emperor, has solid tannins to go alongside the black fruits. Still young, of course, it has a fine richness and power. Drink from 2026. Roger Voss" - 93/100, Wine Enthusiast
Concentrated color with dark purple tints. Heady nose offering up a floral edge and jammy black fruits. Oak tannins leave a strong stamp on the palate yet do not obscure the line-up of fruit. Freshness adds tension to the finish in this very enjoyable, distinctive Cahors.
