This beautiful expression of pure Sangiovese is sourced from a miniscule .8 hectare parcel.  We were fortunate to receive a bounty of 6 bottles!

With a long maceration of 25-45 days, along with 2 years ageing in 35 Hl Slavonian Oak barrels, this wine is deeply pigmented and well-developed.

Dusty ripe cherry, smoke and sweet red florals, grounded by a gentle leathery perfume.  Textures of pure silk release tart cherries brought to life by vibrant acidity.  As saline minerals saturate the senses, hints of fine tannin add balance.  The finish is forever long with mineral-laden bright red fruits and a freshness that hangs on the palate.  Elegance personified.
