The Do Ferreiro Albariño 2024 is a classic, benchmark white wine from Galicia's Rías Baixas region in Spain, crafted by the legendary Méndez family. Blended from over 160 to 175 tiny, hand-farmed estate parcels across the historic Val do Salnés subzone, where vines range from 50 to over 200 years old. Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and rested on fine lees to build texture without losing its Atlantic sea-spray clarity (no malolactic fermentation). Highly expressive and balanced, capable of evolving beautifully in the bottle for 10 years or more.

Aromas and flavors of lemon zest, bright lime, tangerine, white peach, green apple, and white flowers, underlined by a distinctive briny, saline, or oyster-shell finish. Light-bodied and very dry with a vibrant, nervy acidity and a strong, stony, granite-soil minerality that gives the wine its sense of place.
