The 2022 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Maranges 1er Cru Rouge "La Fussière" is onla vibrant, Pinot Noir from a rising-star estate in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. It features a bright ruby color, vivid red berry aromas, and chalky tannins that complement a long, subtly peppery finish. The nose is expressive and precise, opening with fresh red fruit—like wild raspberry and tart cherry—complemented by subtle spice, licorice, and a distinct, stony minerality. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a sapid, mouth-watering entry. It features crunchy, chalky tannins and a lively, refreshing acidity. The finish is structured and persistent. It rounds out with a dark-fruited, lingering mineral tension.
