Poggio al Tufo Rompicollo is a Tuscan red wine crafted by the Tommasi family, originating from the Alta Maremma region. This blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon is cultivated in the Rompicollo vineyard, known for its volcanic tufo-rich soil, which imparts a distinct minerality to the wine.
Deep, bright ruby red in color with aromas of ripe berry fruits like blackberries and raspberries, complemented by dried aromatic herbs and subtle sweet spices. Full-bodied and mellow with velvety tannins. The wine offers a rich flavor profile with an attractive suppleness and a long finish.
