Dròmos L'Altro is an expression of Sangiovese from southern Maremma with delicate aromas of spice and cherry backed by the power and intensity of Tuscany. The wine is compact and firm in the mouth yet generous and bold at the same time.

Certainly, this wine has evolved since this early review.  You would expect the fruit to be somewhat subdued and some tertiary aromas and flavors to be present. Tannins will be soft and integrated.  The aging process progresses at a delayed trajectory in a large format as compared to a standard 750ml bottle.
