Description
I am always on the lookout for a great sparkling rosé that is a good candidate for everyday drinking, (or drinking every day if you like).
This sparkling rosé is unique in that it's pale salmon color is derived from the Monastrell grape (Mourvedré in French). Most commonly, Pinot Noir is the red grape that is used in Champagne-styled wines.
With 18 months on the lees, this is a rich wine with a creamy texture and impeccable balance. Each bottle carries a disgorgement date, which indicates the vintage of the wine. This is something you don't see in a wine at this price point. On every level, this wine exceeds what you would expect from traditional method bubbles at this price point.
This has replaced my previous traditional method house rosé bubbles.
It will not disappoint.
