Description
I won’t over-romanticize the coming of fall by invoking images of turning leaves. In four decades in Houston, I have experienced fall colors exactly once. To put that in perspective, I’ve experienced snow at least six times as often—and hurricanes three times as often.
Hopefully, for our first event outside of the summer months, Houston will cooperate and give us something that actually resembles fall weather for our Fall Walk-Around Tasting.
Either way, we’ll have plenty of new things to show you.
We’ve added new vendors, which means new wines and new discoveries. Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Argentina, and the U.S. are all under consideration as we put together a tasting list of 30–40 wines. As always, our goal is not simply to pour a lot of wine, but to find wines that are interesting, distinctive, and worth discovering.
Join us for an exciting evening of exploration and discovery—and perhaps, if Houston cooperates, a little fall weather as well.
