Description
There was a time a few years back when I sold so much of this wine that it seemed every friend that I visited was serving it. I didn't have any of my own because I sold every bit of it. I loved it every time a friend opened another bottle. I never got tired of drinking it.
James Suckling
Extremely perfumed and aromatic with rose petals, lavender and violets. Hints of fresh herbs to the blackcurrant fruit. Medium-to full-bodied with very fine tannins and a long, persistent finish. It goes on for minutes. I love the balance of this. Drink or hold.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2020 Il Pino di Biserno is bold and ripe with creamy blackberry, candied cherry, spice and tarry smoke. There are pressed roses, blood oranges and tea leaves buried deep inside. The tannins are pronounced, but this full-bodied Tuscan red is almost ready to go straight out of the gate. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
