There is a broad attack to this red, whose black cherry, blackberry, plum and blueberry flavors are accented with iron and menthol. Muscular, with spiky tannins, yet remains balanced, lively and detailed on the persistent aftertaste. Patience is required. Best from 2029 through 2043.
