100% Barbera

A "bricco" is considered a prime vineyard site.  Located in the part of a hillside that receives the maximum sun exposure, grape from a bricco will achieve maximum ripeness, and thus, give rise to the richest expression of the varietal that is grown there.

The 2019 Viberti Barbera d'Alba Superiore "Bricco Airoli" is a deeply-pigmented, full-bodied wine produced from 40–55-year-old vines. It is characterized by aromas of blackberry, spice, and cured tobacco. Aged in tini (large wooden vats) for 15-18 months, it is structured with silky tannins and a finish that lingers.
